World Health Day global celebrations 2014By docgenix2 on April 7, 2014
World Health Day is celebrated on April 7 every year to mark the anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organization. This day provides an opportunity for individuals in every community to get involved in activities that can lead to better health. Innodata celebrated by providing free medical consultations and fast blood sugar (FBS) testing to our Innodata Manila employees. Employees also donated blood. The newly appointed Health and Safety Team Members were also introduced to the employees.
Health is a major concern, and Innodata’s awareness campaign is just one way of informing employees and/or the public about how to take care of their well-being. This year’s theme covered vector-borne diseases, and Innodata launched its campaign with a Global Slogan-Making Contest. Arvin Tibon of the Mandaue facility was declared runner-up, and Jecell N. Cañaveral of the Innodata Legazpi Facility won with the slogan “Fright bite, It’s small . . . Let’s FIGHT them ALL!”
